Are omega drivers way better then the 5.8ati drivers? Ive never used omega and i just wanted to know. And will my fps raise with the omega drivers(esepcially in bf2)? If so what do i exactly need from from omega site? what files?...(bit lost)

No they aren't "way better". They are just the Catalyst drivers slightly tweaked. Personally I haven't had any luck with them, so I just stick with the normal Catalysts now. They've done plenty of tests that you can google and find benchmarks, from what I've read, theres really no benefit to them. Some people may see 1-2 fps increase but I've also heard some people will lose 1-2 fps. I never noticed any real benefit with them, only problems months down the road trying to update them.

I rather spend money on a new VGA cable than deal with the questionable fps increase of the Omega drivers.. both are pointless imo and Catalysts are good, easy, no hassle.

Lets see...if they don't have a performance increase, you uninstall the drivers and reinstall the catalyst ones..

For some there way better, for some there about the same, for others there less in quality.

I would only get Omega drivers if they tweaked something that you know you want over the standard drivers.

i only use them for mobility radeons since the manufacturers never update
