Meh, not the first time i've ever heard stuff like this.

I remember once on CNN, a reporter started making fun of a priest who was anti put chiavo down.

Wow, that was great. The media finally grows some balls.

I cant watch :/ can somebody tell me whats it about?

It's about how I'm gonna stab you in the eye with a pencil.

C'mon Lemon, take it like a small boy.

I can not put into words the amount of disgust that I am feeling right now... about so many different aspects of what is going on in New Orleans.

Also, for anyone that doesn't know. Michael Brown, the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, had no previous experience in emergency/disaster management/relief. His last job was "Judges and Stewards Commissioner" for the International Arabian Horses Association... and he had to resign because of pending litigation and financial disarray. His previous employer had these things to say about him:
in an unofficial e-mail said:
He was an unmitigated, total ****ing disaster. I was shocked as hell when captain clueless put him in charge of FEMA a couple of years ago.
on a diary at HorsesAss.org said:
He ruined IAHA financially so badly that we had to change the name and combine it with the Purebred registry. I am telling you this after watching the ****ing shipwreck in the Gulf. His incompetence is KILLING people.
What was his only previous qualification?

He was a college roommate with the previous head of FEMA (who quit to go make money in Iraq, IIRC)... who, also, was not trained in handling emergencies/disasters. His qualifications, or (more appropriately) lack thereof, are quite obvious in the handling of recent events. He doesn't even know WTF he's talking about in interviews.

EDIT: While MjM is providing some links... I thought I should toss one in: Paul Krugman - "Killed By Contempt"

Louisiana is a city under water, lol what an ass. Keith Olbermann's segment was powerful, he really bitch slapped the Bush administration.

and then you have these jackasses shooting at the rescue workers,etc...

"**** you and your food/medicine!! This is my 'hood now!!" ....dumbasses

I feel sorry for the kids and the old people, but these other ****s making it harder for the "good guys" to do what needs to be done..to hell with them..

where the hell are you going to use that TV you just stole when the water is up to your nipples? pure madness..

the governor and the mayor knew about Katrina, maybe not how bad it would be,but still, they knew 5 days ahead of time..

and yet didn't start evac until 1 day before Katrina hit..refused what little federal aid was offered afterwards...

Bush isn't blameless in this..but maybe its not ENTIRELY his fault?

then again it probably is...

Great clips! I caught the last part of Olbermans show last night. He made a lot of fantastic comments. Thanks for sharing.

I hope this spurs the media to report just on the facts. That'll probably never happen though. One can only hope.

Keith Olberman is a great reporter. He is the only guy I watch on cable news.

Calling Bush a 'modern day Marie Antoinette' is the perfect description.

For those that dont know, Marie Antionette was reportedly so out of touch with the conditions of poverty in france, when told the peasants were revolting because 'they have no bread' she replied 'let them eat cake'.

And its great that someone has the courage to stand up on national TV and say that.

Neo conservatives not ftw. but when will fox grow some MSNBC balls?

Fox does have balls in a sense that it directly challanges the FCC when it lies and distributes its right wing propogenda. But then again Republicans are in charge of the FCC so not too much risk in that.

for the record, the "let them eat cake" quote is constantly being misinterpreted. She doesn't mean actual cake, she means cakes of dirt (it may also be a translation issue). Any way, the true meaning of the quote is not that she was out of touch, but rather she was completely apathetic.

I am on a crappy computer and can't watch the movies, but it sounds like they're good. :p
