well, its the break and they havent shown it yet (unless they deviously showed it in the 30 seconds it took me to run up and write this), but they have shown that people would rather be hit than tickled, and that the easiest way to make stir fry is to use a woodcutting machine to chop up vegtables, put them in a cement mixer with sauce, and shoot it with a flamethrower for 5 seconds.

I wonder if it actually worked on the TV (it obiously will on the program), but if it does there'll be 100's of people all over britan making their sofas brown. if not you would definately be able to get it off the internet anyway ;)
 
Trust me, if they can get the volume high enough, you will shit yourself. Our physics professor did this with us, but he used a frequency that is supposed to cause vomiting, only not all the way. I tell you, as soon as I heard that sound I felt like throwing up, a little louder and I'd have rushed to the bathroom. Yes, my physics proffesor is of the cruel kind.

Some branches of the special forces use this technology, its also supposed to be going into modern warfare as well, a truck with a giant dish and speakers is aimed at a crowd for crowd control, when its switched on it causes the bowel to go into a spasm.

Its not in full mode yet because the first few trials caused bowel and stomach rupturing and in one case it cause the heart to go into shock and kill the guy.

I love Braniac, it's such a great show. One of the very shows worth watching on Sky One nowadays.

As for this brown noise thing, it was on a few days ago, and I definately felt something in that region when they played the sound. I remember it being really bassy. :)
 
i can't believe how many stupid people believe this, a fequency that low can't can not penetrait the human skin let alone deep into your intestines and make you lose control of your bowels. Even if it was true, and it was based on how loud the sound was, you'd go deaf before you got it loud enough to sh!t yourself.
 
Just curious, but is it the same noise/pitch as the one in that episode of South Park?

Actually, I think you are just talking bollocks. Do you even know what sound is? I mean, you get sounds that go through walls, why not the human body? Don't make stuff up then call people stupid.

This noise is a very famous noise. I remember reading that some security systems were being designed to make use of this. I don't know what became of them though.
 
apparently, this same frequency was on the System of A Down album 'Toxicity'. i've listened to it loads but never crapped myself :(

Brainiac is the worst science program the world has ever seen, let's see the experiments they have performed.

1. Rolling a tv loosely wrapped in bubblewrap and randomly chucking it out the back of a van at 50mph might break it.
2. Dropping a caravan from 15 feet up onto a stereo will break it.
3. Putting explosives in a shed and detonating them will blow up the shed.
4. A fat guy might last a bit longer in the Antartic then a thin guy.
5. Putting a cd in a microwave will damage the microwave.

The only remotely scientific thing they have ever done is putting the alkaline metals into water to see what happens.
