The sequel includes elements from the videogame Hitman 5. Agent 47, is a beaten man and must build himself back psychologically and physically to reclaim his mantle as world's most feared assassin.

This was declined by a developer on hitmanforums. Hitman 5 is not coming this year. IO Interactive's financial plan is to release a new game every year. This year's game is Kane & Lynch 2.
