See title.

I dont know... I set it to 0. It goes, ITS A LAN SERVER! I go, Okay, lets set it at one. Nope, still a lan server.

I have DMZ hosting enables for my router.

I dont want to make a dedicated server. I just want to be able to press the Create Server button and it create a freaking server. ARG.

BUMP! Someone please help me out with this. I have the right ports forwarded, SV_LAN set to 0, yet IT WONT HOST IT ONLINE.

What am I doing wrong?

Load the map you want to play. Set sv_lan 1. Wait for people to join.
Assuming your router is set up to allow traffic to come into your pc then that's all you really have to do.

...sv_lan 1 sets it so its a LAN game.

I want an internet game.

But I can not get an internet game.

Because it is not working.

I dont know why its not working.

So I posted here.

I also have the same problem, I've even filed a Steam support ticket but the response was nothing but garbage, they didn't even know how to fix it.

It does, atleast it has for me in the past.

Load game
Create server

Make sure your giving people your WAN IP and you have port forwarding enabled if you have a router.
