Hey, i'm new here so i dont know if there was a thread like this before...So, i was thinking can Half Life 2 start in OpenGl? I wanna see how it would look like

No. In HL1 you can...but not in HL2. OpenGL is well on its way out. Only the Doom 3 engine runs on OpenGL of all the current graphics engines.

Yeah, then those games wouldn't be limited to Windows.
