opposing force standalone

I just bought blue shift today, and it was great.

now I want to get opposing force, but 1 problem, I dont have the original half-life on PC and I dont want to get it because I already have it on PS2.
so today I was thinking of getting the standalone version, but im not sure if they sell it on steam, if they do will someone let me know.

It doesn't say it requires Half-life 1 with it, Steam would say another game is required for it to work. I always thought HL1 needed to be installed, but the Steam store wouldn't sell a game which isn't playable I'm sure

Steam would pre-load Half Life for Opposing Force to play. You'll have Half Life in your Steam account, but you'll be unable to play it.
