Opteron/Athlon64 benchmark with nForce3 MB

eh i found it an interestin read. read evertyhing if u do read it. they are testin an overclocked 1.8mhz opteron at 2ghz. it beats a 3.06 p4, won all gaming bechmarks by about 10% or more.

Opteron overclocked to simulate the new Athlon64 killed in gaming benchmarks, but is pretty much on par if not a bit better with top of the line P4's and current Athlon's everywhere else. Looks like Athlon64 will probably do quite well, especially in a 64bit environment. I have quite a lot of faith in Intel, and am interested to see what Prescott will be like.
