the army would have a lot of use for this sort of setup ...it would allso be quite useful for pilots who are trying to land in bad terrain .

Yeah I think the projection part of it the most impractical part really.

If the clothing were to display it, itself then it'd be better.

you'd need someway to project like straight out rather than diffusely from the surface of the coat. Otherwise it would only work from one angle.
