Optimizing BF2

Good question the way I tried that worked with the demo does'nt work with the full game.

Just get rid of them.

c: - program files - EA Games - Battlefield 2 - mods - bf2 - movies

Just remove the 'movies' folder and you're all set.

Edit: If you don't want to delete them, just rename the folder.

I'd recomend just creating text files and renaming them to MOVIENAME.BIK or whatever the file names are. Punkbuster might have something to say when you delete them entirelly. Just a guess.

As for optomisation, i'd recommend going through the windows xptc and driver optimisations at www.tweakguides.com. You can't believe how much performance i've regained with the help of that website. Their HL2 guide is also exceptional.

I sure hope they can get their BF2 tweak guide up soon. Not that i'm having any issues running the game all high (except for shading I think) with 2x AA, but there's always room for improvement eh? :thumbs:
