OS Paged Pool Memory...?

What is this and is anyone else getting it, I only get it in Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2. I don't think it does anything if it reachs maximium but if anyone knows it would nice to tell me what it is and a fix, please.

this is simple, your RAM ient high enough, you need more RAM, thats the likely problem

So, how do I go about 'getting more RAM'?

Umm how about you buy some more RAM or better yet use this fix http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?t=131328
That fix will increase your paged pool memory size.

Ok, guys seemed to have worked cause I've just had two hours on episode 2without any warning, 'cheers mate!!'

Agggggh!

I've been having this problem as well and followed the above link. I turned up my Paged Pool memory size as described in the link but no luck. I keep getting this error message as I try to start the first level. The intro movie plays no problem. But can't even get into the first level. The message reads

"Engine Error:

Internal driver error at Present.
You're likely out of OS Paged Pool Memory"

even after I've turned up the paged pool size!

Any ideas, anyone??

It happened to me like once lol. Once I updated my graphics card, everything went well. Likewise, it happened when I tried to change portal to full screen instead of a window and it also did it, but deleting the folder did the trick. Other than that, no problems at all.

This is how to fix it
Here's how you open Registry Editor:

Start Menu > Run > regedit

Surf down to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management

Double click on "PagedPoolSize". Hexadecimal is listed first. Change the "Value Data" to one of these below:
(Note: You only need to enter EITHER Hexadecimal or Decimal. They both are the same.)

Megabytes Hexadecimal Decimal
192Mb 0c000000 201326592
256Mb 10000000 268435456
384Mb 18000000 402653184

I went with the 384Mb option and it worked perfectly.

Once you are done, make sure you reboot your computer.
