other great shooters

Hola. I have Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears of War, and the Orange Box, and the latter was the best. I'm looking for games that are supposed to be very good: cool characters, great final levels, and, something I strangely enjoy, credits. Bioshock was great, but the final boss, ending, and lack of credits dissapointed me. Does anyone know any great shooters(ist person or 3rd person that have all of these things?

P.S-I like first persons better...

Star Wars : Jedi Knight 2 : Jedi Outcast is fantastic.

Giants Citizen Kabuto is great fun and damn funny too with memorable moments and characters to boot.

Deus Ex is pretty good if you don't mind the deep RPG-ness of it all.

I only have a ps2, an xbox 360, andmy pc of course. By the way, assassin's creed looks really cool. I have played both the prince of persia series and the hitman series, so a combo is gonna be hot! And it's comin' out next week! I'm definately getting it.

Yeah, that was a good game, although it kind of lacks replay value... I played it like once from start to finish.

I recommend you try out Condemned. It's basically a horror/thriller in a first person view. It's a very atmospheric game.

Other recommendations, in case you haven't tried them already: Max Payne 1 and 2, Clive Barker's Undying, FEAR and other's I can't remember right now...

If you liked Bioshock, perhaps you should also try out System Shock 2 , it's kind of old but still good.

I quite liked Star Wars, Bounty Hunter on the PS2. As far as I remember you can play as 1st person or 3rd person, switching between the two.

Deus Ex is godlike (No pun intended). Freedom Fighters is great and often overlooked. FEAR and Red Faction are good too.

QFT. One of my favourite shooters to date, though the plot was kinda odd to me. Nonetheless, this basically allowed you to do so much that any Star Wars fan could want to do in the game.

I wouldn't doubt it, they reinforce the place unless you completely take it over.(put up a flag or two.)

Yeah, the Russkies always re-enforce areas you leave alone. It can suck sometimes when you come out of a manhole with little cover.
