The thing is...will this (these) new payment method(s) be available for non-us residents. Say, for Belgium and the like in Europe.
It would be cool that they set up a bank account, and let us give them the money directly on the account (as Play-Asia.com does)

being able to pay with a switch/solo debit card would be sensible. shitloads of people have them. the only reason i havnt given in to the temptation of buying right now over steam is because i dont have a credit card

As in how? Send them a bag with some money? I can't think of any other way besides something like Paypal (and doesn't that require a CC to put money on your account?) that is as fast and direct as CC. Banking isn't a good idea, takes about 5 days for my bank to process a payment, can never be as fast as CC.

Now be gone, I've gotta mug some people for a CC.
