when i watch the videos for call of cthulhu and brothers in arms i always get the impression that they are running on source. both companies are keeping the engine a secret and alot of the features seem to be the same or at least have the source look. anyone else think so?

Yes, but I believe BiA is using the Unreal engine and Call of Cthulhu is using an in-house engine. I could be wrong, though.

if bia use source engine, they would not keep it as a secret, imagine source mixed with ww2 theme, a lot hl2 fans would buy it.

but day of defeat doesn't have single play which contain a storyline that is one of the most important element in a world war theme game.

ok just watch bia's video, it can't be source engine, objects in the world are not even interactive, the soldier's face is just dumb....

Oddly enough, that link, RoyGBiv, no longer has Brothers in Arms listed in the "Announced titles." CONSPIRACY! :O

Hmmmm! I smell conspiracy!
/me gets outmy Sherlock Holmes pipe and gets to work

Arkane Studios (creators of Arx Fatalis) are creating an unannounced projected using VALVe's Source Engine.
