Good, maybe that crap-console will finally die.. They've done good with PS1, PS2, and somewhat with PSP, how did they f*ck up PS3? It wouldn't have been hard to make it good..

I agree.

It sad really, they made a huge hardware gamble which turned into a huge mistake. Thinking the cell was the next big thing, much like the PPU was thought to be.

What we can do with QUAD cores now is a much better approach then what the cell was designed as.

Not that I have much love for Sony lately, but that article seemed speculative at best. Those other articles it links to on Joystiq seem a little bit critical of Sony over seemingly innocuous things aswell.

Still, here's hoping some of the PS3 exclusive devs atleast decide to share the love around a little. Ultimately what I'd like to see happen is Sony pulling a Sega. Stop making consoles, and start developing their amazing in-house games for the other consoles. That'd be so sweet... if somehow unlikely.
