could someone please help me?
i am stuck in my benafactors.
i am at the big generator room with liquid floating in it .
where is the walk way to het to the elevator?
i have been back and fourth for aabout a week now and i can't find the way out.
i tried jumping over the fence to get into the room where the generator is but i can't jump over it.
somebody please show me the way to go.

Could you post a screenshot? Hit f5 in game and then dig around in your steam folder to find it.

When you say you can't jump do you mean you can't jump at all?

If you can't jump, try reloading the chapter/map. It's a known glitch.

i have tried the walk through and it did nothing for me.
also i tried to jump over several rails at different points and the game would not let me jump.the walk through said go through a walkway on the other side of the room .
where is the walk way at?
can't seem to find it.
has anybody got through this part yet?if so how did you do it? thx ziggy.

i just read the second walkthrough and it says jump over a small fence well i have tried to jump this small fence and no luck.
i even tried to pile up some body's to make a ramp to jump over this fence but still unable to jump this fence.
what am i doing wrong?thx ziggy.

Go into new-game and scroll across on the chapters list and start 'Our Benefactors' again. What has happened is that your jump button has stopped working, its a bug that can sometimes happen in this chapter only, very few people get it. Restart that chapter and check your jump works and it should be fine to continue past that fence. Keep going, not much further to go!

The reason your jump button doesn't work is because you pressed it while you were riding in one of the pods. It's a known bug that's existed for a long time.

Yeah, you'd think it'd have been fixed by now, with all the updates Valve release.

I don't remember having to jump any small fences. Wait....I remember the elevator, but no fence sorry, I remember there being a fence around the elevator but that comes down once the elevator's arrived

It's before that elevator. You have to jump over one small fence. It's entirely non-memorable, so there's no reason you would remember it - unless you're one of the unlucky people to get this bug.
