Over 7000 uninformed Americans can't be wrong!

The popularity vote said yes actually.

IIRC it was 70 for 30 against or it was 60 for 40 against.

Parliament, or the opinion that matters?

Opinion.

I have always belived this from the start, Tony knew that George was gonna go to war no matter what. The UK has always been a bridge between the US and the EU, Tony knew some crap would go down after the war if there wasn't someone to clean up the mess. And we also have better experience of occupying a country and installing a new goverment.

So Tony also stayed because he would also have more power in the reshaping of iraq and because of the consequences with the EU and post war iraq.

It's just that America has been a bit uhm clumsy *cough* with post war iraq, It's not the British soldiers who are getting blown up everyday.

Opinion it is then.

Do you really think it's a good thing we've been used a tool by the US, then forced into an evidently unpopular war (all polls in The Guardian up until war actually started disapproved of the war.) perhaps?

Ohh the guardian!

Guess what i can pull up a poll from a paper like the sun and that would be completly different(and the sun does have the biggest readership in the UK)

Or another rightwing based paper, Same if i pulled it up from a paper like the mail it would be dissaproving of the war.

A tool i don't think thats the case we are getting a nice share of the contracts aswell. George was going to war like it or not. And when the shit hit the fan it was America who came out worse in the worlds eye. We dont have abuse cases, no dodgy murders, we dont have soldiers being killed daily, Basrah is not contended in anyway.

I think it's better that we stuck along for the ride because we can clean things up.

Because tbh America dosent have enough experience in theese kind of matters.

The Sun also hosts Page3.com, and have headlines such as "Nadia for BB4!"so I think we can gather something about the intelligence they posses.

I don't like to see Iraq in terms of contracts, either, that's putting money before human lives, and Basrah is hotting up thanks to the **** stirred up.
It is true we're a superior force at developing a "conquered" area, thanks to hundreds of years of doing it, but I don't think that's any reason to enter a war.

I don't paticualry feel like getting into where this is going at the moment.

I belive in 10 years time when this has all gone well we will look back and say " that was the right thing to do"

Just my opinion tho.

Cool, but back on topic.

Note how many uninformed opinions there are on that site? This is kinda patriotism at it's worst.

i've heard stories that blair actually convinced the Bush administration to go to war in iraq...
