I have been using a ATI Radeon X1300 PRO AGP with my Windows XP Dell PC for awhile with no problems whatsoever.

Then I let my sister use it, and next time a try to use it, the PC is on but nothing is on the monitor. I turn the PC off and back on manually, it starts up like usual, showing the Dell screen, then the loading Windows screen. When it's about to show the screen where I click a username to use, it doesn't show that and instead says "over range" on the monitor. I rebooted many times to make sure it wasn't just random luck, and of course it wasn't.

Basically, the hardware is fine, it just appears my sis might have messed with the software settings for the card. Right now I have the original card that was in the PC when I bought it so that I can atleast go online and stuff. Any ideas what to do?

It sounds like the resolution is set too high for your monitor to handle. Boot in safe mode and adjust the settings properly.

I already got it, but thanks for lending your time. I'm pretty sure that's what it was... If only I knew this before, I could've handled this alot faster... Atleast I know incase someone screws with my settings again.

I just completly uninstalled the software off my PC and reinstalled off the CD, and then renewed the Catalyst off the ATI website. It took longer to do tjhat then I remembered, but atleast it's back to normal now.
