Overclocking my xfx 8800gt. HELP!

I just got a new custom pc which I kinda helped build.

I really want to overclock it to get some extra fps in my games.

I want to overclock my 8800gt but I am too afraid to do it myself.

Can someone help me out step by step? i want to do this really slowly while being very supervised.

If it is Alpha Dog Edition you should check the manual. Says SPECIFICALLY to overclock 1mhz each go.
