Okay, so I have a 1.8 P4 (Will) >_< and 512 3200 RAM.
I heard that if I set the fsb to 133, I should be able to boot it up to 2.4, no problem. I have a good heatsink as well.

My question is: what should I do about the RAM, then? Do I want it at 1:1?
I am rather confused.

In fact, if you have the time, could you give me this step-by-step?

I would greatly appriciate the help-plus I won't be as far behind in the hardware department as I was before... ^__^

FYI by overclocking without water cooling your going to suffer a lot more lockups/artifacting than you have before. I have pretty much the best air cooling a PC can have and when I overclock it overheats it more and starts to lockup from making it unstable from the overclocking.

Best bet is to not do it.

It's a 1.8, for chrissake! Ungh, playing Source is like watching a slide show... if risking my hardware to get entertainment is what I have to do, then that's fine by me. :E

Any advice/Links?

EDIT-Does your name have anything to do with Dirk Gently?
