hey I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is a good cpu overclocking software.

Software? Try Clock Gen.
Just so you know you don't OC via software and keep it. OCing software is just for testing. You get into the Bios and OC there.

And don't increase the voltage via software, you will crash your machine.

Also be sure that you have appropriate cooling installed. On my early overclocking days I learned that the hard way as I went like "omg I can increase cpu power this easy!!!111" and I think I set too high voltage or something and the cpu just burnt.

How much should i overclock my new AMD "san diego" 939 4000+ by ? :D :D

I'm not sure if you are an experienced overclocker, but if you arent then I wouldn't recommend starting now, I would read some articals and guides on it and make sure you are totally comfortable with everything involved in overclocking. The reason I suspect you aren't an experienced overclocker, is because if you were, then you would know that the bios is teh best place to overclock, and not software. Other than that, just make sure you have good cooling on your cpu, and good airflow through the case.

hehe no problem :P .. but i have OCed an P4 machine thru bios .. i just had to jump in and say that i had a AMD 4000+ :P

but OCing AMD is another thing to P4 and i read the thread about it tbh i can't be overclock it anyway .. ! :P

Better keep that one to yourself in future. Using a fridge isn't that effective for cooling your pc and also you will probably burn out the motor in the fridge pretty quickly.
