P4S8X-X motherboard

Does anyone know if it has any reliability problems? I've been using one for a while, and ever now and again my computer will just shut off, and then when I turn it back on the screen stays black. It starts working again after a few reboots.

Edit: I'm also using a P4 3.06 HT processor, a Radeon 9600 Pro 128 meg, and... I think a 420W power supply, if that gives anyone an idea what the problem is.

Also, when the computer reboots, it usually boots into the BIOS for some reason. Not always, though.

I have a P4S8X. My dad has the same mobo and he just had to replace it because it was so bad. My mobo doesn't like Sound Blaster cards, they just make windows not boot (the blue progress bar(start up screen) fails and stops moving).

Overall, I think it is pretty rank mobo. However, I do use it without any probs without a SB card in.

Just P4S8X? No -X? I wonder how much difference there is between em...

Does anyone else know what the problem may be? I havn't installed a new soundcard. Still using the onboard.
