Hey guys I just upgraded my RAM so now I have 1 GB. Windows XP sets the Virtual Memory page file size to 1.5x your physcial memory.

Online there are so many myths about what size your page file should really be so I have no idea.

Anyone know what they are really talking about? What minimum and Maximum page file size should I have on a 1GB Physical memory system?

stick to 1,5 GB, and set it for min and max. Oh, and if you've got the luxury of 2 hd's, use the one that's used the least for the pagefile.

Yes, just leave the page file size the way it is. You have a lot of ram, I doubt it would actually need to access the page file that often.
