If you continue to have the same issue, make sure that your virtual memory
is set up correctly: Right-click on the My Computer icon and select
Properties. Switch to the Advanced tab and click on the Settings button
under Performance. Switch to the Advanced tab and click on the Change button
under Virtual Memory. Switch to Custom Size paging file and set the initial
amount of memory to the amount of memory in your system and the maximum size
to double of the initial amount and close the window, rebooting when
prompted.

Does this sound right, and stable?

Um, you're asking if customizing the size of the page file is safe in a healthy machine? Sure it is. What issue is directing you to do this? Is it some program which doesn't think it has enough memory? How much RAM do you have?

I guess you're running Win XP, btw..

I bought UT2004 the other day, but after about 40 min of playing my system will reboot, right in the middle of a game. I was suggested to change my pagefile but I doubt that'll fix it, I don't have this problem with any other games...

 Most likely cooling issues or the PSU!

I get the rebooting thing in CS:Source, not sure what it is. Try playing with the side of your case off to help cool.

40c idle, 44c load

As for the PSU, that doesn't make sense cause I just played CS:Source for 90 minutes (alot longer than I can get in UT2004) and didn't have this problem, heck I played Half-Life 2 for 5 hours straight awhile ago and didn't have that problem, so I think that rules out the PSU being Antec 400 Watt which is obviousily not one of those cheapos.

Hmm... interesting. Your system is nice and cool, your psu is awesome, you're fine in other games... what's your system specs?

:dozey: Hell yeah that's freaking weird.
