Pak files please read

I got this sound pak file for day of defeat, but i dont know where to put it, i can't find the file. I use steam.

You cannot use pak files with steam, if you have a pak file opener open it up and put it in the steamapps/youremail/dayofdefeat/sounds folder. If you dont have a program here is a link to one http://www.telefragged.com/wally/ If you have any more questions just ask.
