I started reading the comic for Surrogates and then rewatched the trailer, seems a pretty close to the book to me.

But this could be a V for Vendetta type adaption, lifting many things from the book but creating a slighty different plot for it.

I'd probably just rent both on Netlfix. maybe I'll see Surrogate in the theaters but not Pandorum

Pandorum looks like a mixture between Dead Space and Event Horizon. Paul W.S. Anderson produced it. Bare that in mind. He's like the long lost cousin of Uwe Boll. I did like Event Horizon though.

I don't know what to think of the Surrogates. Could go either way even though i like the concept of it.

I was right, I just finished reading the comic, it was good but... the comic would have made a decent mini-series than a movie, and now we get a plot with more action where there was no action before.

The comic is more philosophical, dealing with concepts of god's image for the world with others who view the Surrogates as abominations.


The comic is no watchmen or league of extraordinary gentlemen, but seriously this could have been a decent mini-series.

The movie will boarder on meh and decent, I'm sure of it.
