Hey guys! I passed my road test and got my license..this was the first time I ever took it too. hell yeaa and its my aunts birthday too this will be a good surprise to her

Win! But are you old enough to get drunk in celebration?

ha ha ha america!

My idea trumps that: Get drunk, take your test, and drink to celebrate?

Road test, eh? So what; multiple choice tarmac coverage, line whiteness and roadkill quality answers?

To pass an American road test is as easy as taking the bus.

My moms friends daughter failed it four consecutive times before getting it. Lol

I haven't known anyone in my family who has failed it... and my brother was the first one in the entire family to graduate high school. It's really a simple test to take.

(He's older than me, I'll be the second one! /offtopic)

I managed to get mine w/ almost no experience; she had to explain to me how to park when we finished. It's really a joke...

On a similar note, i just got a speeding ticket for going 55 in a 35 D:

It all pretty much depends on who is testing you and where. Mine wasn't hard, but it was high pressure. Still passed, but I don't look down on those that didn't.

mph?

btw by age 16, you can get a driver's licence here.

I made a 100% on the written test and 100% on the road test, with nearly 0 preparation. I am a good driver, but it's easy to pass even if you aren't. People die because of that.

ah yes, good old australian road rules... concidently don't we have a higher comparative road toll per year? :P

Similar to posts 9 and 10.

In my area it depends on which tester you get. 3 or 4 testers don't pass anyone(for dumb little reasons) 1 or 2 testers pass just about anyone. You just have to keep taking the road test until you get a passer. My third try got me a Passer and he helped with parking tips.

Our in Finland is hard.

First we must take 31 half hour driving lessons, plus 20 one hour theory lessons.

Then we take the theory test. 50 photos accompanied by questions (IE Are you allowed to turn right here? Is this car parked correctly? Are you allowed to pass this car? etc?) and 10 written questions with ABCD choices (What is the maximum speed that you are allowed to drive when towing a trailer?)
You can fail three of the written quetions and 10 of the photos. There's a 30 second timer per photo and a one minute timer per written question.

Then you take the drivers test. You drive around with an instructor for 45 minutes and park at the end. If you do one thing wrong, you fail. Very strict.

Yeah, about the same in Sweden. It takes most people about 2 years of practice before they can pass the test.

Wow, that makes our test look about 100 times easier. And if I was nervous for that test I can only imagine in finland..
