Password Problem

I was drunk and changed my password a while ago and of couse I cant remember it now....I went to retrieve lost account and entered all my info in, but it wont let me change my password....

I still have my email reciept from valve saying I bought the silver package...How can I fix this?...I went to the steam forums but I havent gotten a verification email yet...

Chances are that the e-mail was delivered to your junk mail folder or something.

Make sure your junk settings are set to minimal, try it again and then check all of your mailboxes just in case you decided to change the e-mail address too

I have the email.....but the problem is the account retrieval will not work....I enter the verification code and then the town I was born in, and it says it was unable to change my password...

Im going to cry

Two minutes searching got me this:

2. You know Your Account Name but not Your Password
----------------------------------------------------------
a. You can use Your Secret Question/Answer to make a new Password (email sent)

b. If you don't know your Password or your Secret Question/Answer then you can try filling out the ASK A QUESTION Form and request assistance.

Required Information when you submit an Account Question:

o Your Account Name, including any old Account names
o Your CDKeys
o Your Email Addresses including any old email addresses
o If you purchased the game online, provide the last 4 digits of the
Credit Card used for the purchase.

NOTE: Be sure to provide as much information about your account as you can.
