What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

Why not get the same controller Microsoft uses on the XBOX360 but for the PC? review

The Windows 360 controller is great, especially if you use games that require analog button controls, like racing games. The controller has analog trigger buttons that work like gas and brake pedals.

The controller works for every game, but some games don't have enough configuration options to set it up right, and for many games (specifically games that came out before the 360) the 360 controller is too sensitive. Some games you can adjust this, but many can't.

So, for racing games, the 360 controller is a necessity if you want analog (variable) gas and braking, but you could just get a racing pedal.

I haven't tried it, but I'm pretty sure the best general purpose gaming controller would be made by logitech, since it's probably not too sensitive, and almost certainly comes with configuration software. The only drawback is that it doesn't have analog triggers.

I have the 360 controller, and it works great for 90% of the games I've used it for, but for some games it's just too sensitive. So, I'll end up buying a logitech controller as well. I'll eventually buy a racing wheel as well, and with these two new input devices, I may not use the 360 controller anymore.

Hope that helps someone. The OP looks like a bot.
