I was looking through the October issue in my car today and I noticed that the releasse date for Hl2 had been changed form the usual date we all expected it to be released to November 19th. I got this issue in the begining of September. I just thought it was kind of interesting that the magazine knew about the delay of teh agme before Mr. Newell started his thread about asking help from the community and before everyone knew the source code had been stolen. Hopefully PC Gamer is right. Since, imo, they were one of the first publications to get a sniff of what was going down at Valve.

PC Gamer is always on top of things, they keep their noses in almost every game for the pc you can think of. I noticed that date just now that you said it and yep its true. Hopefully they did know, watch its like their informant within Valve that told them. Hell they have one in Ion Storm and id.

pc g

I second that. PC Gamer is 1 Ruling Royal gamer mag.

hmm...dunno looks more like a wild guess to me

While PC Gamer is a quality magazine, however how reputable their news and news sources are is another debate entirely.

I doubt they know more on this topic than any other computer gaming magazine on the market at this point. Chances are they don't know much more than you or I.

Still the fact that they new of the delay before most of the media tends to give them a bit more credibility.

pc gamer has good sources, whether the 19th date is true or not i guess we shall all find out =-P

I personally think it's as reliable as Windows 95. But I'd love to be proved wrong.

I had Windows 95 up until September of last year. That's pretty reliable.

Let's not forget that EBgames.com has been posting the 11/19 release date for almost 2 months before the announced delay...
