PC Gamer has sucked for awhile now..it used to be great back when they nice british chap was the EIC, then he left and it went slightly downhill, and now The Vede apparently is the EIC, and yeah, I just don't bother anymore.

PC Gamer US is a hype machine and its reviews tend to be slightly less than insightful. Weak magazine. Get a subscription to Computer Games.

PC Zone was better, at least when I was subscribing to it. This subscription ended circa mid-2005, so I don't know whether the quality has remained or not.
