I have the Sennheiser 155 ..it's nice and people say my voice is clear ..not as comfortable as my old Sennheiser, and they do tend to slip off sometimes ..but it's cheap and has good sound/mic

I use an MC mic, hooked up to a mixing table, hooked up to my PC using an left right to 3.5" cable.

I may not be able to scream while i'm running around in BF2 (gotta pick up the mic with one hand, very heavy ), but it's really good for vent convos, and sounds great :thumbs:

WOW!

Now, that is extreme!

I've got a set of Medusa's too - and I highly recommend them. The 5.1 works surprisingly well when you're watching movies, although I don't tend to notice it much when I'm gaming (maybe cos I'm used to it, had Creative 5.1 speakers for ages now - although they are all set up in front of me in a straight line ).
The other good thing about them is the inline volume control, meaning you do not have to keep unplugging your standard 5.1 speakers in order to use them.

As for the mic, well, it seems to work fine in the 'voice' menu in HL2DM, when you set it up. However, I don't think anyone can hear me in game, as I've asked people loads of times if they can hear me, but nobody ever can :frown:

I'm getting Battlefield 2 next week, so I will try it in that also...

Best PC Headset: Dell Standard Issue Microphone, 2 Pieces of Duct Tape, and a piece of wood to bite down on while removing said duct tape from face and head.

I've been thinking of getting a set of these for a while now but I'm interested in what went wrong for you, care to elaborate?

The problem is know just what the hell you sound like.

I know people can understand me with my free BF2 headset though.
