PC lag wtf?

My PC sucks,so I play Team Fortress 2 on xbox 360. Now,Valve has released some patches,but lag is still a big issue. Servers cutting off at random,your character going all static when you move the camera,being teleported halway across the map.

Those are all problems that make Team Fortress 2 hard to play on alot of servers. Most of you seem to play on PC,so can someone who plays on PC tell me,do the PC servers lag alot like the xbox live ones?

Also,do alot of people play this game on PC? On xbox live,I can always find a good 2fort or dustbowl game,but maps like Granary and Hydro have about 0-1 servers running a day.

is there no map rotation on xbox??

also wouldnt the lag depend on the server you join? it could just be someone with a crappy connection.

Well yes,but unfortunately everyone who plays this game on Xbox live seems to have dial-up. I have a great connection but no friends who have the game so I can never get a server started. It's actually a big problem,reviewers are complaining about it. I think I'll just stop trying for now and get it on PC in a while.
