I would get PCI-e, also because it is a 939 socket motherboard, allowing for more upgrades in the future with 64bit chips, plus the fact that you will be able to upgrade to future pci-e cards.

I would go for pci-e since you can buy a gfx card now (making sure its SLI compatible) and then in teh future when teh bank balance is back up again, you can buy another one. I read a magazine called CustomPC and they tested a system with 2 6600GT PCI-E SLI cards, and it out performed a 6800ultra single card, and its cheaper too!

I dont know, Im making a new computer now Im going AGP, its a really good system and should last me a year. If you have the money you could make a excellent AGP system now, then down the road when the AGP system gets old and PCI-E is getting popular switch over to it.


Im sticking with agp simply because it works, I want to give PCI-E awhile before I switch over to it.
