PCI Latency question

Hi,

This is my first post here. I'm having the same issues as many others, system stuttering and locking up occasionally.

I've done alot of reading about the PCI latency issue, but I don't see any mention of PCI-E cards.

I have a PCI-E graphics solution in my machine and my question is,

"Is PCI Latency an issue in PCI-E systems?"

PCI-Express is the regular 32 bit PCI as Apples are to Peaches: Look somewhat similar, on the same platform (tree). That's where the similarities end.


It has NOTHING to do with latency. What most talk about is the PCI bus being too saturated. You probably have an excessively crappy video card. Doesn't matter if you put your 20$ walmart tires on a Ferrari or a Beetle, they're gonna suck ass regardless.
