People on screens are mute!

I noticed this first thing when I stepped off the train in City 17, Dr Breen wasnt speaking. I had subtitles on, so I coped with that for the entire of the game.
But theres sometimes part where people are speaking to the screen, and its a wierd conversation.
But, right at the end of the game, I managge to get a little voice on the screen of Dr Breen in the citadel.
Help!

My problem was simply the video card. I had a craptastic integrated Intel video card, it caused a slew of problems for me aside from the mute people on screen, also the flashlight didn't work properly, it'd get all screwed up. What are your specs?

Yeah - flash light doesnt work, makes it difficult sometimes. I used subtitles aswell, so yeah.... Thanks for your help.
