a friend of my mom give me for some time a nintendo64 hat their sons stoped using for a long time

and I am having a blast whit perfect dark

I loved it,even whit the obvious dated stuff it was a very enjoyable game, the variation on the objectives made the game feel unrepetitive unlike other fps where is allways "walk trough corridors kill enemies"

the story is wacky but cool, and the weapons and stuff very original, one of my favorites is the bomb rifle, that one you can drop and becomes a proximity mine

the fights dont feel so variated but the scenarios and situations make up for it

I really can see why it got so high scores though so low popularity

I am in the last lvl and can barely survive the horde of skeders before the final one, any tips

one thing funny is that I never owned a nintendo64 until today, but I dont have such games as mario64:(

Perfect Dark is one of my all-time favorite games. :D

As for doing well on the final Skedar mission, I completely forget. I guess just try and take it slow, don't rush in and take them all on at once. And conserve ammo.

Last level ruined the game for me. Well... not ruined but was a right bitch. Just take it slow and fall back to reload. Took me fricking ages.

A game of epic preportions, one of those games I just needed to complete fully on alldifficulties before proceding to the challenge scenerios. The multiplayer had me and my mates hooked for ****ing ages, the amount of scerios you could create was just amazing.

Never played. I`m interested now. I`m downloading an emulator.

Too bad they released Zero, which is one of the worst games I've ever played.

Great game and yes I agree with Samon, Zero was horrible and god awful ;(

You need to get more N64 games.
The N64 was definately the greatest console I ever played, I had the most fun on it.

Perfect Dark was awesome. I'm still waiting for a first person shooter to come close to Perfect Dark and Golden Eye in regards to objective based single player missions. They've yet to be matched arsenal wise either.

Come on fps devs, pull your finger out!

Too bad they released Zero, which is one of the worst games I've ever played.

That's because although RARE created PDZ, the real guys who created the original PD and pretty much the creative soul of RARE a.k.a "Stamper brothers" left RARE long time ago, RARE is now just a sad shadow of its former glory...

so that means no good perfect dark sequels?

one thing about perfect dark is that it feel refreshing, funny considering its 8 years old,and it showed what was lacking in some recent fps and is that is lately the fps have been just like "run there kill enemies there, protect here, keep killing there" and allways whit a guy that just shout "take cover !" or something like that

while in perfect dark, even goldeneye, the single player feel more involving, and even if the combat feel repetitive at times, the game just dont

and also that modern fps dont feel so creative, like in the weapons, is allways like pistol,SMG,shotgun, rifle, sniper, grenade launcher, rockets, secial weapon here,... while in PD the arsenal was interesting and you allways want to try out the different weapons

I dont know if I can get more n64 games, maybe in internet, but the n64 is not mine toobut maybe will give a try

Perfect Dark Zero for the 360 was graphically awesome, was the first shooter for the 360 aswell, but ultimately it was kinda crap i thought. Got fantastic reviews though, dunno where the appeal was.

Try Ebay dude, you'll be playing some of the best video games ever made if you sink your teeth into Mario, Zelda and Goldeneye.
QFT

Goldeneye and Mario were awesome. Never played Zelda though..

rjmc: The possibility of an even 'good' Perfect Dark sequel is virtually non-existent, the closest thing to RARE of n64-era now is the team behind TimeSplitters... too bad I forgot their names, hehe.
