Performance Problems ?

Im hearing a lot of rumors that the game is running terribly.

ie high end pcs on 800*600 resolution

is it true ????

the game will ship on the 19th here and im very worried the game is too good to be failure cos of performance !!

I've seen the complaint from people who have pirated the game, but not from people who bought it yet. My friends works fine on a mid-range system. It probably varies from system to system.

edit: if what this person says is true, then it IS because it's a copied (pirated) version. Read the first post, he says it's a bug purposely for anti-piracy:

'I just talked with a programmer about this, and I found out that this is actually specifically one of the bugs that is PURPOSLEY put into the game when the macrovision copy protection senses that the game is pirated. Lesson: even if it seems like it's working, it's worth it to get the real deal. Other things that is put in for the pirates: cops spawning from nowhere, random criminal ratings, people running away from you screaming for no reason, etc.'

Let this be a lesson to you guys. Buy the freaking game you lamers.
