Performance Warning on Core 2 Duo

Hey guys,

you might have seen my other thread but anyways I just switch to Core 2 Duo running at stock 2.13ghz...

I opened up lost coast and got the good old performance warning with my cpu speed highlighted in red - I was just wondering:

Have any of you other core 2 duo users had that? i thought steam would have been updated to recongnise a core 2 duo and not give a warning - obviously it's dual core...

That is because it uses GHz as a measurement of performance, instead of what chipset it is. I get the same warning on my AMD 64bit 2.0 GHz even tho it runs just fine.

I got the same thing with the 3800+ dual core, its nothing to worry about.
If you check this site http://www.srtest.com/referrer/srtestout and check one of the games if they can run on your system (pick any) and it will tell you that your cpu is 2.whatever but it's running like a (some higher number), for my 3800+ dual core it was around 5.something ghz.
