Leave it up to me to start a thread about dumb animals.

I've got a Pembroke Welsh corgi. His name is Scout. I got him on December 8, 2007 after saving up and planning for a corgi for years. It's funny how he goes crazy when he can't find me. I suppose I do the same thing when I can't find him. But that's not too hard. He's always near me.

My mom or somebody has two cats. Their names are Mimi and Buddy. They were born in my parents' closet in April of 2001. Mimi is the evil, fat sister and Buddy is the hopelessly stupid sister. But they're great. My sister wants to get another cat. We'll see how that goe over, 'cause my dad hates cats and so do my cats.

I have a guinea pig named Benjamin. We used to have two, but Benjamin's brother, Timothy, died a few months ago. He caught a cold. :(

I have three hamsters. The mother, Shasta, and her two daughters, Argentina and Totoro. I used to have the father (Bree) and the son (Barney Calhoun) too but I gave them to my little brother and they died when Timothy died.

We also have three female mice. Pandora, Griggs, and Alice. Griggs is my favorite. She likes me best.

I've got a bunch of fish in an aquarium in my room.

Does anyone else have any pets?

2 dogs (weimerana and a whippet) and 1 cat

have had in the past; snake, tarantula, parrot, budgie, rabbits, guinnea pigs, goldfish, tropical fish, shar pei, gerbils

I can't remember what else... lol

Lesbian, overweight, dachshund mix.

And a Golden retriever who doesn't care when small dogs hump her leg.

I don't, although I might like a cat.

My girlfriend's cat is a voyeur, but her dog is worse; it likes to think it can participate.

one desire

edit: dammit mocho loco, you just ruined an infraction worthy chain

I have a cat named bobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobobo

I also had some zebra finches named Atticus and Scout. We had to give them away before we moved from Texas to Arizona, though. Wow. I just realized that my current dog and my old bird have the same name. Huh.

My first dog (and first pet ever as my parents got him four years before I was born) was a schnauzer/border collie/blue heeler named Spanky. He was cool. He had to be put to sleep when I was ten years old, though. I couldn't get another dog until six years later. My dad didn't want to deal with another dog yet 'cause he was still in the Army and we'd still be moving from state to state.

1 dog (George, Jack Russell) And 1 Cat that used to be stray.

Plus 5 chickens, about 50 goldfish and 2 rabbits.

We've got a Lakeland Terrier, Sandy, who is eight, I think.
We used to have a Syrian hamster, very awesomely named Champstar (we called him Chammy, though). He died aged two-and-a-half from a tumor. Still, 2 1/2 is a very good age for a hamster.

I had a Syrian hamster too. I named her Rover. She died just after she turned two, though. That's when I got Shasta and Bree, my Campbell's Russian dwarf hamsters. Shasta had two litters of six baby hamsters each. I kept two from the first litter (Argentina and Barney Calhoun) and one from the second litter (Totoro). Of course, we didn't keep the males and females together 'cause I didn't want my hamsters having kids with their own brother or father. That would be...rather revolting. :| So I gave the dude hamsters to my brother and I kept the girl hamsters.

We used to have a bajillion Campbell's Russian dwarf hamsters when we lived in Texas. We kinda had our own 'colony.' But we had to give the last of them away when we moved, just like the birds.

Oh, yeah. We found a budgie at our feeder, but he caught a parasite from the doves and died a few days later. :(

Two cats; one a male Maine Coon, the other a female Manx.

My daughter and the children we had together.

It's incredible how much you can keep in a basement.

Have a golden retriever named Gracie. Just like 2.5 months old. Already ~20 lbs.
Looks sort of like this pic (just a google search)
golden-retriever-puppy.jpg

2 dogs(mutts) 2 cats(tabby)

Names are:
Doger(Male dog) Saydy(female dog) Bob(real name is Percy but i call him Bob)(Male cat) and *sigh* Scaredis(male cat)
My sister named him when he was born because he was crosseyed and always looked scared as hell

I have a pet peeve. Actually, I have quite a few of them. And a Green Iguana. And an orange fish that will kick your fish's ass.

Don't want to be rude, but those fish are god damn pussies. Unbelievable how myths are ridiculously wide spread.

Anytime anyone talks about aggressive fish they mention those fish. Chinese fighting fish are not aggressive unless you put two males together, and even then they are pussies. Me and friends have tried several times, and in my experience, they won't even fight, they just kind of puff up their fins, posing like fake gangsters.

You want an aggressive fish? The most aggressive tropical fish in the world come from the waters of Africa. African Cichlids are absolutely ruthless.

Mine is the bright orange one in the picture link below, probably the brightest colored fresh water fish in the world.

I have a pet dwarf who habitats in the attic.

I have a 2 year old male Doberman Pinscher...Everyone seems to be scared of him

1 cat that I've only known for a couple years. She belongs to my dad's new wife, but I've taken a real liking to that cat. She's old but acts like a kitten(meows like an old cat though most of the time... scratchy), and I think she loves me the most out of anyone, as I give her tons of affection.

And well, I'm also her bitch, because I let her outside whenever she wants, and inside whenever she wants. That is, unless I'm sleeping or have just woken up, and I want nothing to do with the cat then.

Her name is Missy, but we usually call her Fred. I frequently like to call her Frederick Von Lichtenstein, or Frederick Von Gutenberg. Don't ask me why, but it happens, and I find it hilarious.

I want a couple cats but my landlord is allergic to them, so I'll have to wait until I move.

I don't know, taking care of pets is something that I've grown tired of.

My iguana is very high maintenance. I just always had a goal of having one that is 6 feet long of bad ass reptile, so I'm sticking with it, though I often consider getting rid of it.

Dude! It's Siamese fighting fish! Not Chinese!

And VirusType2, African cichlids are colorful, but I've seen plenty that could rival that orange fish.

Cichlids aren't the most aggressive fish. You ever been to a beach?

read what I said again:

Come on. These fish have names like Jack Dempsey, Red Devil, Green Terror, Jaguar, Demon Eartheater, Malawi Eyebiter, and finally Tiger Oscar (being one of the least aggressive cichlids)

In the wild, this fish is a top predator. As juveniles they live in small ponds and lakes formed by the flooding of the rivers in the rainy season. As they grow to adults they move back into the rivers. They eat just about anything they can catch, even if the prey is bigger. They have been known to eat other cichlids, other fish species, piranha, and even birds.

Good thing I anticipated that... didn't want this whole ****ing place to come crashing down around us with an unhandled exception!

You can't possibly be confused about what "tropical fish" means, can you? Many sharks are tropical, man.

Please name a tropical fresh water shark.

As far as I'm aware, tropical fresh water 'sharks' aren't even sharks, they are a type of minnow, and a cichlid would destroy them.

You said your fish is the most aggressive tropical fish. Not the most aggressive tropical *freshwater* fish. You left the freshwater out. You said that your fish is the most colorful freshwater fish. Don't act like I'm the idiot. I do know how to read.

So yeah, I've seen real sharks before. Real tropical sharks. They're pretty damn aggressive.

No he didn't. He mentioned that "The most aggressive tropical fish in the world come from the waters of Africa. African Cichlids are absolutely ruthless."

In a seperate statment he said that he has the Brightest fish in the world.

I have:2 goats,3 cats,a horse,a dog,a bird,2 fishtanks,several small snakes, a White-Throated Moniter Lizerd and a Brazilian Red-Tail Boa named Uriah. Yes, he was named after the Vort.

It's assumed. I don't have to include fresh water because -

Fishkeepers often use the term tropical fish to refer only those requiring fresh water, with saltwater tropical fish referred to as marine fish.
DID YOU READ IT?

Also, don't misquote me, I said Cichlids are the most aggressive tropical fish. As a whole, they are the most aggressive group of tropical fish. I say this out of experience with tens of thousands of fish, not out of some fact book that I read.

Can you show me a brighter colored fresh water fish or a more aggressive group of tropical fish? No. You can't. If you can't prove me wrong, then why argue that I am?

While technically a shark is a type of fish, does anyone call a shark a fish? I've never met anyone that does. When you see a shark swimming in the ocean, would you yell, "Shark!", or "Fish!". When you go to see the sharks at the public aquarium or some other place, does it say shark tank, or fish tank?

Despite the fact that it should have been obvious that I wasn't including sharks in my comparison, you have failed to name any freshwater tropical sharks, because I'm not aware of any. Even if you had, I would still prove that it isn't as aggressive.
