Wow, that's going to be the most boring game ever.

Is Saw actually scary or is it just gory? Or do you guys see that as the same?

Never really cared for the movie myself tbh.

I've always hated on Saw like it's my job, seriously, before I talk about Saw I chug GALLONS of hatoraid.

I'll admit I did like the first movie, but sequels every year? They're like the EA of movies.

The first Saw was good. 2 is shit and I haven't dared watch others.

SAW 1 was good it had a decent story and a bit of suspense. The later ones were just how gory can you kill someone, and i've watched them all and everyone after 1 suck they are like snuff films.

Not much different than, "The hills have eyes" or "Hostile" tbh. A senseless slasher/gore flick. Appeals to little teenyboppers though.

I haven't seen "The Hills Have Eyes" (it didn't look interesting at all).

I enjoyed the first Saw as a sort of "puzzle movie" that you try to figure out on your first viewing, trying to call the twists before they're given to you. Also, I appreciated the villain. Good villains are supposed to have a good side. Often this is done by dividing good and bad aspects of the character, as in a torturer who is a loving familyman. Far less often --but more interestingly, I think-- the evil acts themselves have an altruistic aspect to them, which is the case in Saw's Jigsaw. I remember thinking that the difference in "disturbingness" between the short stories of the past murder and the main characters' situation was a major weakness in the film, though. I don't recall much of the gore. I didn't watch any Saw sequels.

Hostile wasn't a particularly good movie (mostly due to being long and awkwardly paced), but it did have an interesting social commentary in the parallel between the main characters buying women for sex and others buying the main characters for murder. I didn't watch Hostile 2.

I'd definitely argue than both Saw and Hostile have much more substance than a pure slasher, such as Friday the 13th.

I'd like to express my hatred of repetitive, pointless torture movies. GAHRARHARHAHRAHFADFDSFGFD

Hostel, you mean? right?
I guess. Something about a bunch of wacko europeans capturing American tourists for a human taxiderm museum.

Are europeans really that f**king crazy? A dumb movie nevertheless.
