Phoshop or not?

It has it's moments of looking real, and a couple not real.

But I think it's real.

huh? there was no photoshop back in 1969 ..was it retouch by the photographer? most likely ..all photos are

aye it looks like it was touched up (their shadows especially) but I don't see how they would have faked it

it looks like a composite of two images; one of them walking across something, and the background

I'm fairly sure you could do that with the tools they had in 1969

lol. photoshop '69 edition.

Someone should start a new thread with a photo that may or may not have been photo-shopped, and let everyone add a new photo.

We should try to guess if it's photo-shopped or not.

Could be fun.

Or not.

BTW Old album art FTW. We could start an album art thread.

I like Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here.

wiki says"

""At some point, the album was going to be titled Everest, after the brand of cigarettes I used to smoke," recalls Geoff Emerick. The idea included a cover photo in the Himalaya, but by the time the group was to take the photo, they decided to call it Abbey Road and take the photo outside the studio, on August 8, 1969. The cover designer was Apple Records creative Director Kosh. The cover photograph was taken by photographer Iain MacMillan. MacMillan was given only ten minutes around 10 that morning to take the photo."

They messed with the shadows.. Although i dunno how they did it back then.

Using scissors and pritt stick!

Using a stereoscope (a machine also used to make topographic charts) would easily make this possible.
