We're not voting for the person here, but the image. If I put the 4 who sumbitted multiples in their own groups, that would leave 6 for the remaining 10 entrants. I dunno, just deal

The voting system isn't flawed at all. You're not voting on the overall awesomeness of each group, you're choosing which group has your favourite image. Then the final round everyone will just vote for their favourite.

Plus, this method only results in two threads, since the first one can potentially hold 100 different entries in only 10 options, whereas if you used the usual method you'd have 10 different threads choosing individual people to go to the final round. Less confusion and mess and spam.

The voting system is kind of flawed, sadly. Even if everyone votes for the one image they like, if category A has a great image and a shit image, and category B has two good images, then B is probably going to make it to the finals despite the great image in A being better than both of them (potentially, I realise it's a matter of opinion). Under the circumstances it'll kind of have to do, but it's not exactly giving everyone a fair run. =/
