I really recommend image event for anyone who is into photography. It's only like $25 a year and you get to have 1500 images online. Direct linking is allowed, and it auto resizes the pictures to whatever sizes you want your users to view. Check it out.

I love photography! I've got my own Olympus C5050Z, and it does an awesome job. What kind of cam do you have?

I tried starting up a photography contest a while back, but the only two entrants were fender and I. Naturally, I won . Hehe, but if we started this back up again...maybe we could have 3 people enter! I use a Minolta Dimage Z1. They just recently started advertising it on TV not too long ago.
I don't want to hijack the thread, so i'll make a new thread to post some of my stuff. Check it out.

Im gonna get a Fuji S5000 this xmas, so i think ill enter it too once ive gotten to know the camera.

EDIT: It is very simmilar to your minolta, but when i read some reviews i liked the Fuji better, also i tried it out in a shop

I almost got that, but then realized that the max shutter speed for it is 2 seconds, so don't expect to get anything like this :

( someone backing up ~ white reverse lights ~ and then driving away ~ red tail lights )

Not to mention yours is about $100 more ? Also, does the s5000 have a hot shoe for an external flash, and an adapter to allow you to fit on normal 52mm lenses? If you haven't noticed, I did some major research before I bought this puppy

Well, im only starting to get into photography so Im don't need a very fancy camera... yet, and also i diddn't like the feel of the minolta, i liked the Fuji better. Also im thinking of getting something in the line of a Canon EOS 300D in a few years time... once i actually start to learn what all the different switches and settings do

This is my fav pic i've ever taken, too bad ive only got it in 640x480 res This was taken 2 years ago in a place called Nagu in the finnish island region.

The second pic is from the day before close to where the second pic is taken. It is too only in 640x480

Is that your shot? Casue I have a nearly identical shot of mine own that I took from about 1100 feet up awhile ago in 41lima (edit: this is the Cessna 172 that my Civil Air Patrol squadron has... the navy has a bad habit of turning on EPIRBS and ELTs....) when we were rescuing norfolk.... again....
