No offence to any of the people who have made tutorials, but if you have photoshop 7 then all the tutorials (at least from what I have seen) are WRONG.
Sprays are a whole lot easier in photoshop 7.
Photoshop 7 will automatically make the native photoshop transparency an alpha channel. Doing it the way I've seen a lot of tutorials say to do it will NOT work and will result in the transparent areas of the spray be black.
It's simple, leave the native photoshop transparent areas transparent and then save to 32bit targa. That's all you need to do. No messing around with alpha channel or anything.
