why bother with tutorials??
if u have any clue about digital image editing u dont need em, just screw around and DONT play with filters and class that learning..... ( tho its ok if it helps you do something faster eg bluring but plz dont just grab a pic apply a filter and say u did it...............................)
if you dont have a clue:
explore all the menus, press every button find out what things do, then set your self a task like edit this picture so instead of stains be gone it says chav be gone and stuff like that
if you do have a clue toy with everything again but do more complicated stuff
i made the transition from psp t ps
so u can change too albiet it maybe from Paint to ps but hey

Well, Ive never come across a Photoshop basics tutorial. Just play around some, you can't really **** anything up... and if you do theres a reset function I believe. Otherwise Google is the way to go.

The best way to learn how to use Photoshop is to stuff around for it for an insane amount of time. That's how I learnt.
Just open up an image, and unlike other people, using Filters is actually a good way to learn what looks good and what doesn't. Just be prepared for the more than necessary flames from pro 'shoppers.
But as I said before, mess around, learn, mess around some more and experiment. Using Photoshop is fun, so have fun!
