Is it possible to attach brush and/or model physics objects together, if so how?

Ive heard (pre-sdk) that you can define breakpoints on physic brushes, how do I do it if it can be done?
 
I really want to know how to do that.

I want to make a wooden wall, and when you shoot at it, only some parts break, some bart are staying "nailed" on the structure. Like the physic video, the guy is shoot ing at some wooden stuff and if only breaks at some places.
