yesterday or the day before i ran across a way cool physics demo in these forums. it was made by meqon, to showcase the capabilities of their game engine to producers. Here's the downloads website if you want to see it:

http://meqon.com/downloadarea/downloadarea.php (the demo i'm talking about is the 1.8 meg one.)

anyway, i was totally blown away by this thing, i loved it. Hours of fun. So, i was wondering if anybody tell me of anymore simple game engine demos they know of. I'm totally amazed by stuff like this, i messed around with the meqon for at least 2 hours straight. So that's why i'm looking for others, just because they are so cool and fun to play with.

i know others are out there, but i've had a hard time finding them in google. thanks in advance, and please don't bitch if you think this is not thread-worthy.

By the way, that Meqon is really fun, just how do you reset it?

escape then enter, that's the only way to reset it...

Thats a lot of fun! nice find, you can press R to reset it by the way
(the jeep demo that is)

Did you guys try the jeep demo? Download it, its alot of fun.

yeah the jeep demo is okay. I'm DL'ing the novodex one now. thanks for the link Aphal.

Wow. That is really impressive, especially the cloth. Better than Havok IMO.

BTW for those wonderng, Novodex is in Unreal Engine 3.

Yea physics demos are loads of fun... I was playing with a soft bodies demo and man it was really cool! you could adjust gravity, pressure and such and all the balls deformed when they hit the edge of the cube... I can't find link in my history, so google for it :)

Haven't tried it yet, but anything like this?
probably something fun here aswell.. :)

You must surely be some kind of demigod(or whatever it's called)! :D

LOL. using this 'magnetism' trick, I can really mess up the water!

Anyways, the trick to this is to Click to hold an object, then right click. That object will now be suspended in midair. It will never ragdoll, but you can fling it around using the mouse. If you click on another object, the magnetized object will SHOOT towards that object, and if you right click the new object, it'll now be 'linked' to the first object. You can keep doing this to create massive clumps. Its kinda fun! :D Especially since it makes propelling things much funner. Go into the block stack one, take a block out, put it away from the stack, on the ground. Magnetize it, then click another block in the stack. *ZOOM* *CRASH*

just think, by 2006 alot of games will be using these physics in real time. im talking all these physics, from the water to the sofy body pressure physics. and cloth physics for characters.
