Ok, lets post pics of you're computer!

Some ground rules: We don't want to see dell or alienware cases or the likes. Only post if
a) You built it yourself
and/or
b)You modded it at all
and/or
c) You have some crazy pimped out voodoo or falcon NW case.

The other ground rule is that you if you're posting in this thread you HAVE to comment on someone's case. You don't nessacarily have to post pics of your rig, but (even if you do) comment on someone's computer (or more than one)

I'll post after a few people reply to comment on thiers.

I just cleaned up the inside some (dust) so some of these photos have dust on them, and some don't :P

Nice pics, I like your side window sidewinder :D I'll get some pics of my ASAP. I didn't build it myself but it is custom built from cyber power systems (www.cyberpowerpc.com
).

http://w1.302.telia.com/~u30208335/lan/compy.jpg

Its about a year old. I got another 200GB HD in it now.

Mine is on top, the other compy under it is my mates. He bolted together 2 chassis into one. You open it like a V, and it looks kinda cool :)

Ive been working on a fancontroller for like 4 years now... but im too lazy to finish it.

Sidy: You have to clean up inside the compy. Buy some round cable and some duct tape and clean it :)

Other than that... pretty normal.. good colour though :)

i would put mine in...but its a beige piece of crap :E

maj: your case is teh small. :p And i have offically decided that green PCBs suck wang. But's it's pretty cool, nice full window there :P

And yeah, I could use some round IDE cables.. I was thinking about gettign a UV cold cathode too... :p

I guess I'll repost mine, much more on the topic. The pics are kinda old and I'll probably have new up to date pics by the end of the day.

Now first it is a work in progress! I still have to grind down the writing on the bolts, spraypaint the bolts this cool blue color. Then place molding all around where I had crappily cut out the metal. Then I have to cut a 80mm hole on the side window as a intake and a 80mm exhaust hole(You can't see the top window because I took it out, its a major pain to place it inside. I don't want to place it in til I am finished with the plexiglass.) Next I'll get two bright blue sound activated CCFLs that actually match in color(Mine don't ) And possibly I may get one UV CCFL and spray my panaflo 92 UV Blue. Yes I know it looks crappy now but later it will actually look nice.

My case is just as small as yours :) (Super Miditower), Epox likes green... i dont :), and thats not a window... just without the site :)

I think mine looks like shit so I won't post a pic.

hey, my current comp is my second cyberpower comp. they are a good place to buy from. my next one may be one too. Mine has a window and light but thats all standard.

how should I clean out all the dust and stuff safely? i know you're supposed to be careful with static charges and things like that.

Isnt this for posting PICTURES? I don't want to read about your comps i wanna see them dangit

comressed air. But them anywhere, even wal-mart sells them.

That pink strip at the back is actually UV, its a dark glow in real life but for some reason the camera picks it up as pink.

another pic showing the rest of my setup is here: -

edit: oops, forgot to comment, although thats understandable since theres only one or two people posting above with actual pictures of their rigs...
I think i'll have to wait till someone else posts before I can comment on anything :)

Cool comps folks. I built my computer from parts, but it's in an unmodded antec soho fileserver case. If you desperately must see that case go to antec.com. It's a very nice case imo. I like the monolothic look so I probably won't be modding it very soon, if at all.

I agree. That's where I got my laptop.

I'd post a picture... but I don't think I'm allowed. :o

I like urs sidewinder. It similar to what mines gonna look like. Cept i used blue accents instead of the green. Im ordering it soon from newegg, all specs are in my sig.

Some cool rigs here.....i particularly like the raw, improvised simplicity of iamelephant's case  (just please tell me you use a qualified electrician to do anything more serious!!!! :O )

Don't have any photos of mine yet (i'll take some and post soon) but i do have a render of a 3D model i did a couple of months back.

I have made a few changes since the render, including the addition of a perspex side window (with the usual UV CCFL, UV Round IDE Cables etc), a black Icy Dock IDE Rack in the bottom 5.25" bay and a black Koolance EXOS water cooling unit on top.

Hope you like.

Is that a water cooling kit (case + water cooling) or did you do the setup your self

What waterblock are you using?
is your radiator inside or outside your case?

Lol water cooling kits are never good looking as that :p

Bought all my stuff either from dangerden.com or ebay :p

Danger Den Maze 4 (CPU & GPU)
Danger Den Z-Chipset (NB)
Danger Den tubing (1/2")
Eheim 1250 pump
Aqua Computers AquaTube res
Thermochill HE 120.1 rad
Criticool Powerplant pump relay

/edit and the radiator inside located at the top

Whoah snak3y3z that's a seriously sweet case :)

That's the sort of look i'm going for with my next rig, but I need 2x 120mm radiators so i'll need a bigger case.

Always have loved Coolmaster's cases. Slick rig bud.

My PC 1 2
Had the lighting parts before the case so I had to find the best way to use them. My next case won't be flashy at all. lol
Probably an Antec Sonata or something similar.

Ack I can't get to yours Snakey, probably my connection it's been a bit dodgy lately.

I'm thinking of making my own water cooling system. The kits are way overpriced, and I have the skills and the tools to make my own. I just don't want to get my computer wet by accident.

As well as being overprice kits just plain suck. BUild your own kit and then let it run for a few days w/o hooking it up to the comp. See if theres leaks and if theres not your good to go

if you use distilledwater, the comp should be alright if it gfet a bit weat (as long as you don't run a live, bare, wire into it :P)

Yeah also a good thing to do is to print out a fine grid with an inkjet printer on about 4 pages and set that underneath the setup and test it for a while. That way if there is ever a drop that leaks out you'll see it by the distorted ink. That way you don't have to babysit the setup while testing.

Wow!!!! Nice rig there matey. What IDE devices do you have in your rig?

I looked at trying to install component built water cooling but didn't have the room in my case (with DVD-RW, CD-RW, Icy Dock Rack, 4 HDD's, 2PCI cards and one AGP card) so i had to go for the EXOS external unit instead - it's still a damn sight better than most air cooling solutions (and [H]ard|OCP seem to rate it highly) but it's probably not as good as a decent component built system.

Hehe, yeah it is a pretty cool case  - although when i bought mine there were no where near as many decent alternatives readily available as there is now.

Glad you like the model / render, i just need to find the time to update it to reflect the changes i've made.

Griz is that a 3Dsmax render? If so, if you're really nice and I ask really nicely, would you send it to me?

Pwetty please :P

Asus, what kind of case is that? It looks very similar to the one im getting, possibly the same one.

Sorry, but it's not a MAX model / render....I used Lightwave for the model and scene creation and animation. :)
