I don't really know, I doubt its doctored..


Maybe thats just due to the fact that its a really really shitty cammera (Seriously you would think they could supply us with a high res shot...)

it does look a bit funny ...couldnt be explained by low resolution as that wouldnt make a railing appear ..cant see his hand so it's hard to tell if it's just a bad angle (his arm could be swinging back away from the camera) there's no shadow either but that could be explained away by saying the other person is in the way of where the shadow should be ..although we should see some hint of a shadow

I don't know much about how those cameras work and how the police may have filtered them but I suspect its simply a filter being applied which had the result of accidentilly making the rail look like its going through him.

I wouldn't be surprised if the original image was even lower quality and police had to do what they could to make it look better, which would mean using special filters. I doubt anyone was super-imposed because I mean what would be the point?

I only have one question for you guys, when does something stop being a "conspiaracy theory" and become actual "conspiracy"? When the people in question admit to the conspiracy they are perpetraiting? Just curious. (i'm not saying there is or isn't a conspiracy here)

It becomes a conspiracy when it becomes proven fact that they are doing it. What Richard Nixon did involving the Watergate scandal was a conspiracy since we know it happened and it was even admitted too. However until it can be proven it is simply a conspiracy theory.

well I guess it's when they establish intent ...take wmd ...bush's admin were adamant that saddam had wmd ..but it later turned out they had doctored most of their information. It went from consiracy theory to conspiracy as soon as official documents started coming out ...but in the publics mind it grew to a conspiracy to deceive as time went by and no wmd were found ...so to answer your question it depends on the circumstances

I'm assuming they'd use photoshop to correct the image ..probably for color correction or to sharpen the image. They could have cut that figure out to make it sharper by putting it on a seperate layer and blending it with the orignal ..it could have been a mistake, but it also could have been deliberate ...image doctoring is tough to prove because every image is edited before it sees print
 
If thats the case shoudl we never use the label "conpiracy theory" again? I say this because, if so, then both you and I should be trying to prove the other wrong, instead of labeling and moving on right?....
 
The image is so low quality there are so many reasons why his arm isn't covering up the railing. It could be that his arm is up higher, or around his back, or he just got done itching his face, other random arm movements, etc.
 
I say, he has bent his arm and his forearm/hand is behind the guy infront. What apears to be his forearm behind the rail is the line of the building behind him.
 
Theirs also a rail going into his head.
Must be thoose new anti-terrorist measures.
 
I love the ad to join the vast right wing conspiracy up top.

The bar isn't really going through his head, the quality of the picture could have made it look like that.
 
wtf, what kind of photoshopper would leave something that obvious in, referring to the hand/railing thing?
 
you'd be surprised ....I left an extra eye on someone in an ad I did ..hardly noticeable but I noticed before it went for final printing
 
I kinda doubt that Foxtrot, you should still atleast be able to see something of his face or hand. Also, you should also be able to see some shadow, somewhere. They could just be hiding something, maybe the bombers were involved with the goverment in London, perhaps they were an important political leader. We can't say for sure.

Stop being an ass.

The image is a CCTV image. Since my work was broken in to I've been wroking with these cameras for the last week and thats the result of the low resolution. When the DVR system records from the camera the quality is lowered to make the movie size smaller (so you can store it for more days). This is probably the result of that compression which actually blends 2-3 frames together. I will try to do a screenshot from my DVR tomorrow, you will see the same thing.
